When the pieces don’t fit…

Image

I was sure this puzzle piece was for the middle

Connecting everything together

No matter how I turned it

The various ways I tried it

It just didn’t fit

It’s often the same in our reality

We often don’t fit into certain puzzles

And other times we don’t fit in where we thought we belonged

I’m slowly accepting that fact

I have learned that you could be the starter piece

Giving the puzzle a foundation to be built on

Everything gets built around you.

You be the connecting middle pieces

Bringing the picture to life maybe?

Or you could very well be the final piece

Making the picturesque complete

Whether your puzzle is an intimate relationship

Your workplace, school, church or just platonic friendships

You may not fit in where you had expected

But don’t underestimate your worth

Whether you were the starter, middle-connector or closing

The puzzle needed your piece

The trouble often comes when we confuse our position

Trying to play double roles – the starter trying to be the finisher

and vice-versa, you get the picture.

Well except worse case scenario:

You belonged to a completely different puzzle from the beginning

And that too is okay – It simply means not all puzzle includes you.
